Psychoanalysis training for people living outside Brazil
Brazilians living in any country can take Academia Enlevo’s Clinical Psychoanalysis training, which is 100% online and in Portuguese. Enlevo already has students enrolled in 14 countries besides Brazil, such as the United States, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Canada and Japan. A company incorporated in the United States, Enlevo Academy, LLC, can issue the certificate in the US, in compliance with that country’s laws.
Why study psychoanalysis in Portuguese while living abroad
- Clinical work happens in the mother tongue. To serve the Brazilian community abroad, you need to master listening in Portuguese.
- There is demand. Brazilian communities in the US, Portugal, Japan and Europe look for care in Portuguese.
- Time-zone flexibility. The content is recorded, and the live classes, every two weeks, are recorded too.

Enlevo Academy, LLC, a company incorporated in the United States, issues a private certificate of completion of the training for anyone who wants one. It is not an academic degree, professional license, government accreditation or authorization for clinical practice.
The rules for practicing therapeutic activities vary by country and, in the US, by state. Before seeing patients, check the local laws. More details in International practice.
